Although this looked like a safe Conservative seats, the NDP surge in QC makes it looks like the NDP could take this riding. In 2008, the Bloc lost by 10 000 votes. Many polls are now showing a strong wave for the NDP in Qc so we suggest you ride the wave in the hope of taking this seats from the Conservatives.   A new CROP poll reported on April 29th in La Presse shows Verner is tied with the NDP in this riding.  In this last weekend we should be very concerned about vote splits and the risk of a Conservative majority.  This is a golden opportunity to deny the Conservatives a seat they have counted on in the past.

About the Riding Predictions

The riding predictions you see on Project Democracy are based on a model that uses the 2008 election results (with some exceptions noted in specific ridings) and current polling to help voters understand what the public polls probably mean in their constituency. Read more
