The 2008 election results are skewed due to Danny Williams' very successful Anybody but Conservative campaign. For the real story in this riding you have to go back to the 2006 election where the Conservative candidate came within 1,200 votes of Liberal Todd Russell. At this point Mr. Russell looks pretty safe, but we cannot afford to let Mr. Harper have a single seat in NFLD and Labrador in his quest for a majority government.
