This victory was aided by large numbers of supporters moving to support the candidate best positioned to defeat the Conservatives in Edmonton-Strathcona. This riding will be won by the NDP or the Conservatives. In this close race, New Democrat Linda Duncan is the only choice to defeat the Conservatives.
