Bruce--Grey--Owen Sound
Only 61.4 percent voter turnout in this riding in 2008.
Riding Projections
The Liberal, NDP and Green parties all had strong support in the 2006 election, which resulted in a Tory victory. The Green Party came a clear second in the 2007 Provincial election and the 2008 Federal election.
It looks to be a Conservative stronghold despite earlier polls putting them in second place with the Greens leading in the polls for a time. The riding now appears to be out of reach for the Green party especially considering the chance that some small-c conservatives might swing Liberal.
It's unlikely a strategic vote could swing enough support to defeat the Tory so vote your preference.
About the Riding Predictions
The riding predictions you see on Project Democracy are based on a model that uses the 2008 election results (with some exceptions noted in specific ridings) and current polling to help voters understand what the public polls probably mean in their constituency. Read more
