Beauport--Limoilou
Only 59.4 percent voter turnout in this riding in 2008.
Riding Projections
CandidatesIn the last election, Conservative Sylvie Boucher only won by 820 votes, so she can be unseated.
Given local considerations that could potentially impact the race in this riding, we have invested (with your generous financial support) in regional polling to help identify the party/candidate best positioned to defeat the Conservative candidate. What our poll has showed is a strong support for the NDP in the region. A CROP poll in the Beauport riding found the NDP candidate Raymond Côté in the lead with 36% cent compared to 30% for the Bloc’s Michel Létourneau and Conservative Sylvie Boucher at 27%. Based on this information, it would seem that the NDP is in a better position to beat the Conservative. Vote splitting could result in the Conservative winning this riding.
